Tom this is just a mean toon. Here I was sipping my coffee and now breakfast is not even in my thoughts.

The way Toles draws McConnell always reminds me of the little alien (one-eyed and sans spectacles) in the wedding present box from the “Outer Limits” episode, “Don’t Open Until Doomsday.”

Even the opening narration by The Control Voice is appropriate: “The greatness of evil lies in its awful accuracy. And also, the closing words: “Without that deadly talent for being in the right place at the right time, evil must suffer defeat; and, with each defeat, doomsday is postponed for at least one more day.” Well, maybe.

When you have an opportunity to speak your mind about the health “care” bill coming out of the US Senate today, be sure you point out who’s behind it:

– insurance companies

– hospitals

– big pharma

– medical-equipment suppliers

And then be sure to point out what’s behind them:

– BIG MONEY!

The healthiest thing to emerge from this latest example of purchased politicians will be the wallets of their owners.

Congress and administration members, of course, will keep getting… well, Obamacare, pretty much.

“I am going to take care of everybody … Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.” More recently, Trump has promised that repeal will end with “a beautiful picture.”
