Good morning, Vagabonds. It’s 6:37 am here at Dublin Airport. I miss my German cousins very much. They really treated me well. I’ve been here at the airportfor about 7 or 8 hours. Fortunately I put 2 upholstered chairs together and had aa good rest.

Does anyone know how I can get “Uygur” back in my avatar name?

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Had a warm day yesterday but it is chilly right now.

Today won’t be quite as warm as yesterday, only in the upper 70’s.

Haven’t decided what to do today. I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

    Take care all.

    Howdy Vagabonds

The fog is lifting and the eves are dripping, a lovely morning here abouts.

Not a whole lot on tap for today, maybe if the day clears off I’ll get to that mowing I didn’t get to yesterday. :-)

    Happy day all.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

We had another hot one yesterday…..92. Supposed to be just as bad today, too. Actually, Mark, a fog and dripping eves sounds pretty.

Good to hear you, Arye. Not sure about changing your sign-in name. You used to be able to click on your name and your profile pops up and then go from there. Since it has been “new & improved”, they might have changed that. Enjoy your trip home!

Thanks for the garden update, Arthur. I so miss tending and nurturing a garden. Our NC son had a rabbit problem a few years ago. He dug a 12 inch trench around the garden perimeter and buried small holed fencing, and continued up about another 12 inches. No more rabbit problem. He also had to put up deer fencing. But, he has a fantastic huge garden!

Jan, did the house officially sell? Congratulations! Freedom!!!

    Happy Trails.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yes, Rita. It is sold and should close by the 11th of August. Freedom indeed! It is a full price offer, so we will have enough cash to pay off the RV too.

I was at the house for the inspection yesterday. I went to show the new owners how to raise and lower the flag pole, and was asked to stay and answer questions. It was interesting, to say the least, and there are no major problems at all.

We are still working on the ongoing problem with television wiring. The satellite antenna still doesn’t work properly. We have been working with the antenna manufacturer, Dish Network, the dealer and right now Michael is on the phone with Winnebago. I’m not even sure that we will keep Dish, but we want it to be right before we give up.

The temp around here has been in the mid 90’s for a few days, but the humidity has been horrendous – up in the 80% range because of the monsoon rains in the valley (not on us, but all around us).

    Everyone have a blessed day.
