    Good morning Vagabonds.

Looks like another hot day but the humidity is slowly going down. Chance of some late showers but they keep saying that and it doesn’t happen.

Hope you made it home safely Rita. Now you can collapse and relax after that long drive.

    Peace to all

    Hi Vagabonds

Sunshine and a few dark gray clouds to the north, looks like a nice day at hand.

For us in the Northern Hemisphere it is the Summer Solstice, so happy Summer all.

And I’m off (way off) catch y’all later.

We’re home! Thanks for all your good wishes, Folks! Ten hours yesterday and twelve the day before. Way too long! But we are home!

We saw a classic Jeep Club heading east on the I-90. Had to have been 50 of them! Thought of you, Mark.

It seems I am able to write longer comments on my iPad. I guess it was the hotel wifi that kept cutting me off.

I was up for my annual Summer Solstice sunrise. The crystal rose on my desk is in direct sunlight for about five minutes once a year, and shoots a rainbow all around it.

    Home! What a beautiful word!

    Happy trails.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, I am glad you and Jack are home safely. That was a long trek with a lot of rewards.

Well, yesterday didn’t turn out exactly as planned. The prayer group met as usual, but no card game and no bible study.

Yesterday hit 117 in Vegas which tied the record set in 1942, 2005 & 2013. Today is supposed to be a bit cooler – 113. It was about 92 inside the RV at the peak of the heat. I found out there is NO insulation in these things at all, just wood and fiberglass. They are not meant to be lived in when it is over 110 outside! We are doing little things like leaving the overhead cupboards open to the AC so they won’t be a hot spot that retains the heat.

Today the gardeners come to clean up the yards. I will take a lawn chair with me to the house and enjoy the AC while they are doing so.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
