Raw onions are most pungent, so have another bite

Shauna’s friends are chowing down, which gives her quite a fright.

Glorf and Gnam! Gnaw and Grind! This feast it does unsettle

Shauna steps out in the rain. Events testing her mettle.

Whom should she meet out on the street? Claire beneath umbrella

She seems a slight and bookish girl. Colm he is her fella.

“We need to talk and not about this wet and stormy weather”

Friends in need are friends indeed. Like ducks, friends of a feather.

What a flock. Once Lem they mocked. Now they are in his power

“We need a plan to lend a hand. Come, let’s escape this shower.”

Linton appears to have gone into the hypnotism with a passion.

The hold Lem has on them is frightful.

    Will Shauna feel spiteful?

The crunch of onion an apple it isn’t

They consume them with an alien passion

Can Shauna free them from this obsession?

I don’t like Lem. I said it again. He’s a hateful boy who has maybe dabbled into dark magic . Our friends may eat unions but not with pleasure. How much is normal for an union to make one cry? Or is it the evil spell they have gone under that is giving them tears of fears? But Shauna was nice to him and maybe he knew it so he wouldn’t curse her with the spell. . Love and compassion ARE powerful things, maybe That is what he Needs to know now, if he can get Friends without Making them to be friends through curses and spells, which are not a good way to do it. I hope she can make him understand there IS a better way.
