Pete: Ahh... Sunday finnies. Kingston: I hear that! Pete: There should be more of 'em, you know? Look how big the rest of the paper is. Kingston: Oh, I know. Pete: You could stop a humvee with this thing. And what do we get? Six measly pages of colored funny goodness. And look at all these ads! Kingston: Unacceptable! Pete: I demand equal representation for the comics! Kingston: We will be heard! Pete: I will not rest until we have twelve pages! Kingston: With no ads! Pete: Comics readers must rise up and demand that they be heard-- Call now! Call Wacky Jimmy the beepre prince. He'll sell you a beeper for just a few pence! 555-1344.

A beeper! A whole six pages of comics! Wow! This must be a really old rerun.

I taught myself to read because I wanted to read the “funnies,” and my older sister would only read them to me when she was in a good mood, which was rare—and 60 years later that’s still true!

I thank dog for Gocomics (and others) NO need for a newspaper. I just read the funnies and sports anyway.
