    I think a repair is unnecessary, but rather the purchase of a new unit (that is if Andy and Flo have the cash).

    @Afficionado…I agree about the extra panels. I’ve noticed for many months that this strip -and other “legacy” strips like B.C. and Wizard of Id-use “filler” panels to stretch an ordinary daily three-panel strip into a Sunday strip. It’s lazy and cynical…but it pays the bills, I guess.

    That would have been me after the NCAA game last night if I had money, not just bragging rights, at stake

    That TV looks unrepairable to me.

    But then, I don’t repair TVs for a living so what do I know?

    @Afficionado

    I never have any trouble with Daylight Saving Time.

    I don’t wear watches now. I now have my phone and computer to tell me the time. A couple of people had a go at me yesterday for pointing out that religious remarks don’t belong here. I suppose I was a bit harsh but I just don’t want to see this comment section turn into World War Three, Is that really too much to ask?

    Today is Mother’s Day and my Mum loved her card. I posted the card on Facebook and got 5 “Likes” Bearing in mind that I only have 11 friends.

    You have to know the time to get to work on time.

    I wasn’t in yesterday, but I wouldn’t call what you posted “harsh” or anything. But I can see where the appearance of The Vicar would probably generate religious remarks of one kind or another. By the way, one of my favorite British sitcoms is “Bless Me, Father”—is that one of yours? I know you’re a big fan of Mr. Bean and Black Adder. I just wish the current “Andy Capp” team would watch some of those shows so they can get an idea of what is actually FUNNY!

    At least they didn’t draw a flatscreen TV for today’s strip. That would look out of place in the world of the Capps.
