He promises to eliminate all but one regulation. The one that says: I’m Trump and you’re not!

Why don’t I hear about the proactive plans of the Conservatives to reach out and unite the nation, create the environments to stimulate the economy, and create permanent careers for the middle class.

Can this actually be done by simply eliminating regulations?

Do the Conservatives have the expertise to make regulations as lean as possible without impacting safety or the ability to export to other countries that have tougher regulations?

He probably regards it as just another piece of paper to be circumvented, like the contracts he signs before stiffing contractors. Scissors will always win over Paper.

The republicans care as little about the constitution as they do about the bible. Just a useful tool to misinterpret and pretend it supports their hate.

Obama set a record by issuing 97,110 pages of regulations for 4000 new federal rules, at an estimated cost of nearly $350 billion.

To Dukeofurl: Obama actually issued fewer executive orders than any other president in 130 years (see http://www.charlotteobserver.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/o-pinion/article53494490.html). And where do you get your fun figures? Who, for instance, is calculating those costs and how are they doing it? Do they include the benefits of regulations in their figures, for instance how much is saved in health costs from fewer people being made sick by food, or blown up by chemical plants? (And that’s over and above just the plain ol’ avoidance of suffering and death, which is a good in and of itself.)

@ZUHLAMON – Sadly, Trump’s supporters will not believe/understand your comments … All they want is for Trump to fulfill his ridiculous campaign promises!

WOW! Who’d have that the comments section of GoComics would be filled with Constitutional scholars?

Trump and others unfamiliar with government, like the one they’re supposed to be leading, don’t realize that a significant number of regulations, that first appear in the Federal Register for public review before being “official”, already modify or remove previous regulations, they aren’t hardly all “new”.
