The beginning of antisemitism is usually traced to early attacks on Jews during Roman times…. however, most likely, the first real animosity toward Semitic people was the jealousy and spike of the Phoneticians due to their skills as seafarers and barterers….. they were Canaanites… whose origins can be traced back as far as 6200 BC….. the the first appearance of the name “Israel” in the secular (non-Biblical) historic record is not until about 5000 years later…. even tho Yahu has a minor amount of Sephardi Jew DNA in his system…. his father was born in Poland… so yeah Yahu could well be antisemitic….

What does serving in the military have to do with being an American hero? I’m a vet, and I have to tell you that I’m getting pretty sick of it when people automatically refer to veterans as heroes. No. It’s not so. What did McCain do that was actually heroic? He got shot down. He somehow survived Nam’s prison camps. Then he parlayed that experience into a lucrative profession in politics. But, I don’t see the heroism.
And now come the PC attacks demeaning me for having the temerity to insist that nothing McCain did was heroic. So, get it on, kiddies.

There was negligible persecution of Jews in Roman times. They were too numerous and attoo scattered through the Greek world when the Romans took over. Early Christians were considered a “denomination” of Judaism and escaped persecution (except occasionally locally) until Diocletian.

During WW-II, the US government was strong in making the distinction that “Jews” were a religion, not a race. Obviously this was aimed at German divide et regium propaganda. After the war, neo-Nazis (they were called “werewolves” then – appear to be normal citizens until the full moon of resurgence orders come through, then their true nature will be revealed), went back to the old confusion and old bigotry reasserted. The influx of Europeans under the Balfor Declaration changed that and the Ashkenazi were, with the end of Soviet Refusniks, able to take over the country to the degree that only marriages performed by an Orthodox rabbi are recognized.
