after noticing what else dogs lick on their bodies…..there’s no way i let a dog lick my face.

My cat wakes me up by jumping on me. I guess that’s slightly better.

My friend’s cat wakes him up with a bite on the ankle.

My cat would meow in my ear. Loudly. Then, if I hadn’t awoken to his satifaction, it would sit. ON MY FACE.

Of the two, I believe Rover is at least friendlier…

My Dad would send our Labrador in to pounce on me and lick my face to wake me in the morning. I really hated that … until she was gone.

Cats have their own unique and effective ways of waking us up. But generally, less slobber is involved.

My cat licks me in the face with a sandpaper tongue- then claws me- THEN he sticks his OTHER end in my face……Blewcccch
