Your right about that, Henry. Unfortunately, it’s the Republican’s penchant for “trickle down” economics, corporate welfare and low tax rates that put us there.
And what exactly has Obama done to counter the outsourcing, the corporate welfare, and the low tax rates? Last I checked he intends to sign the TPP, believes in private investment (new name for trickle down economics), and extended the Bush tax cuts. Where exactly is the difference?
Yes, it would be nice to get some legislation, but I guess if Obama is for paying down the debt, Republicans are against it, so it doesn’t happen. Maybe they’ll work with a woman better than they did with a black man.
The REAL mlitary budget is over a Trillion dollars a year. Might I remind folks that it is the Republican controlled Congress that has written the deficit increasing budgets the last several years, and Republicans have done nothing but fight Obama since day one?
In the world where the Congress does its job instead of playing politics with every thing. That may be a Miss Piggy (you know, someone who isn’t a “10”) But it is not one persons fault. It is a government which will not work together to do what is necessary.
Oh dear, another Republican chant about the deficit.Yet the deficit is the engine of recovery. Why stall it now?Oh, because you can then blame it on the President. I see.

She always gets slimmer during Dem administrations, and wider during GOP administrations. I’m sure there’s some explanation.
