He isn’t crawling. He’s just sitting and eating a sandwich.

Didn’t notice this the first couple times I read this—in the last ‘now’ panel, it looks to me as though Pucky’s eyes are a bit leaky. Of course, that’s Puck all over. And Lupin perched on The Man’s shoulders—typical for him. Also typical—Elvis’s ears.

Oh, my Cat, yes I love all the art work. And notice the happy smile on Freddie’s childhood face—up until Tillie goes missing. Then it’s slow to build back.

I’m not afraid to admit this, but I still get misty-eyed when I read this storyline. Real men do shed a tear when necessary…like this storyline.

This particular strip just really showcases Georgia’s immense talent for drawing/painting and story-telling. :)

This story & illustration of Quinn Cat Shelter has special memories for me as a student at RISD in the 50s, & out on class assignment to draw/illustrate places in Providence.Had an apartment not far from houses like this. Thank you Georgia. Great illustration of the Quinn home & people there. Would have gotten an A+ in Freshman foundation Life Drawing class.

After making sure that the onions were up, I called both of mine to the living room for treats and some loving.

Read this the 1st time here, again in the Book, now here again. Major feels and more than a few tears (especially since I know how it ends)

What a beautiful story. My cats are all rescued also. I lost my 18 year old 3 days ago, so it’s very easy for me to get teary eyed.

I googled the shelter. Sad to find it is fictional but so very pleased and touched by this storyline.

This is the third time I’ve read/seen this story arc and it gets to me every time. Excuse me while I go find a Kleenex.

In the “old” photo subtitled “Local Heiress Opens Cat Shelter”… I love the cat on the left, wearing a headband and making a peace sign…an apt portrayal of a little hippie kitten :):)

That’s it, then. I’m a ghost. I can only se my comments if I sign in, and no-one else can see them at all. And other people’s comments get pretty red flags. Mine don’t.

All thanks to the new format.

Ceiling Woman is very attractive, but she doesn’t appear to be Hispanic, which is what I would have assumed since the Ceiling Cats speak Spanish.

@SAKURA TOMOE and SHADOWBEAST I’m pretty sure that someone posted recently that the Ceiling Cats had a previous owner who spoke Spanish.
