Some concerts I have been to, the performers asked the audience to put away their phones.Of course, even though I was at the Hollywood Bowl in 1964, I still can’t claim to have heard the Beatles. The screaming was so loud you couldn’t hear anything but that. And I was so far back I barely saw them either.
I was at a Kevin Hart show last night, and they made it clear to even the most ADD Millennial that if the security people caught you with your phone out during the show, you were gone. No excuses, do-overs, or refunds.
