If you go Vermont, be sure to visit the Von Trapp Lodge near Stowe. Great food, hiking trails, cross-country skiing, concerts and more. MAria and the Baron are buried in a beutiful private plot near the lodge and their grandchildren still own and run it.https://www.facebook.com/TrappFamilyLodge
The Von Trapp Lodge is in a very beautiful area, although up a very steep and winding road! From what I’ve seen/read of the Baroness von Trapp’s life, I doubt very much that she ever wore a bracelet like that or had a manicure.
