I don’t know, even for a comic, the second to last panel is too far fetched – grouping Nazis, commies and klansmen together. It’d be like white supremacists loving Putin! Ridiculous.
I figured Lepto-gobbldygook was the order of family name of Penguins. But leptophylopidae are a family of burrowing snakes, common in North and South America. See, I learned something new, thanks to Berkeley Breathed (and Wikipedia, of course).The family name for penguins is Spheniscidae. Ooh, Carl Linnaeus would be proud of me!
A few years ago, the cable company took away one of my favourite channels on my birthday! And if that wasn’t evil enough, this year they took another channel I enjoyed, along with my mother’s favourite channel. You’d think with less channels, they would at least lower the fee, but we all know what a ridiculous notion that is…
(Smug chortle) I never had cable (etc.) and never will! There is plenty of junk available for watching on the 30 or so channels I can get with my little antenna (I live in a large metro area).
Mostly, I watch a selection of old shows on MeTV or Heroes and Icons, plus a few Brit imports on PBS….
