How much fun would it be, if Buffalo’s or, God forbid, liberals, started taking advantage of their 2nd amendment rights, and began shooting back.

Even though I’m pretty much a liberal these days (there’s no decent option…), this is still one of the all-time greats.

Alas they are no longer an endangered species.

This was one of the all-time great Bloom County strips. I remember it well.

A timeless strip. They did change their name, however. Once “Liberal” was no longer electable, they began calling themselves ’"Progressives".

@SHADOWBEAST – The wildlife are totally endangered by the continued advancement of suburbia. Hunting and it’s partner Game management are the big benefactors of our wild life. The DNR and groups like Ducks unlimited preserve environments. The DNR has done a lot to preserve and bring back natural predators like wolves and mountain lions. Unfortunately the ranchers providing us with cheap food and developers encroaching on the wilderness are threatening these natural predators.

If I had a say in California government I would try to prevent further development of hilly mountainous areas. As Jerry Brown said this week, these yearly fire storms are the norm today. To allow people to build in high risk areas is totally insane. And to allow those who insist it is their right to live where they wish, well stop subsidizing their insurance rates by making people who live in the flatlands pay more to lower the rates of high risk areas.
