Interesting too that “unions” are evil, but the employers handing out the paychecks say- “vote for the union, and this is your last!”

The polls are secret, unless they’re “paperless electronic” machines of course.

As we slowly slip back into the “Bad Old Days” of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s we will once again have to learn the lesson that in hard times many people look for a scape goat to blame, and when that happens the Conservatives alway offer up the same “evils” to blame:

Unions, immigrants, “foreigners”, Liberials, and those who criticize big business.

Howgozit….Kent is hopeless in the constant misunderstanding of cartoons….huge label “Party BossES”—- but who are the “Liberials” Ken named?

IMO, the voter in the cartoon must be a Tea Party member, either party….D or R…or Independent or newly “Independent”….LOL

I want to continue a “2 party system” but the GOP sold me and all Conservatives out by departing from the Reagan Doctrines…..the model for the sea change to conservatism in Europe today! Reagan’s agenda is better represented in foreign governments that have discovered the unsustainable cost of Socialism, while the Dems in the USA are rushing over the Leftist Cliff!

So you want to return to the mythical years of Reagan, the reality is that Reagan spent, spent, spent (he trippled the National Debt), raised taxes, increased the power and size of government – is that really what you want to return to, because that is also what Bush did (except he didn’t raise taxes, borrowed money instead) and if you look back you can see that it didn’t work out so well.

He didn’t triple it, and he is spending to get us out of recession, Reagan & Bush just spent.

Also we are still paying (both in lives & tax money) for the two wars Bush started.

^^ Do you in any way believe that if Bush had not pushed hard for the War in Iraq, and if he had not cooked the books, that the Democrats in Congress would have come up with such a crazy scheme on their own? It’s Bush’s war, no way around it.

^ I’m saying that all those poor, foolish democrats were dumb enough to believe that the President was telling the truth. But not just the democrats. Colin Powell was tricked as well.
