Geez they’re even giving out candy canes.

Its so early now…I can’t even get in the spirit that much anymore

Still enjoyed the trick-or-treaters tonight. From 2 on up to who knows what age? All having a good time, like I used to do. Time to pay it back, enjoy the costumes, and hand out candy.

One of the local editions of a major chain had Christmas stuff out on Veterans Day; maybe more than one come to think of it. What’s next? 4th of July? I remember when Thanksgiving was too soon and there was no such thing as Black Fridays, just new movies on Thanksgiving – 4 PM matinees at that.

Costco (Canada) had a pile of Christmas stuff out at the end of August, way before the Halloween items.

I was at our local Walmart Friday, the day before Halloween. There were workers taking down the Halloween displays and putting up Christmas displays! I kid you not! So by Saturday, Halloween, they had all the Christmas decorations on display.

Uuhh?? We’re supposed to take the Christmas decorations down? No wonder people point and laugh when they drive by my house.

Walmart here in VA has had Christmas stuff out since October 1st.

Belated Halloween from the day after Halloween, I even notice a Big Nate cameo!

I stopped in WalMart to buy some Halloween Candy yesterday, and the first thing that greeted me inside the door was a huge sign hanging from the ceiling that said “Merry Christmas”. I eventually found the candy, but never noticed any signs or decorations related to Halloween, nor Thanksgiving (an American holiday between Halloween and Christmas).

I was in the local K-Mart about a week ago – they have had Christmas stuff up since at least Oct. 1 – and overheard a little boy telling his mother what was missing. It was Santa Claus! Too cute.

Love the Big Nate costume.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about! I thought Christmas was celebrated on December 25…

Time to get out all that Irish green stuff already. Only 131 days left till St. Pat’s !!

I see:Minion, a cat from another comic or something, a ghost, a baseball player, a witch, a princess, Nate Wright, and Yoda.

Should be about Labor Day next year.

And indeed … cool to see appearances by Yoda, Nate, and others.

They just wanted a really scary yard!

Christmas being earlier is becoming spooky…

They have been Christmas candy here in Sligo Ireland since the end of August.
