The only time I got bit was in the middle of the night. I either rolled over on some part of Toshie or I move a hand too fast.what a way to wake up, looking at the face of a very insulted cat, who promptly tried to bite me again. I would pull the covers over my head and hide!

And Lupin’s covering the night desk. Love it when they’re in their little jammies.

Is that tea that Lupin is drinking? Not fond of coffee so I drink tea, too. Also, I really like the owl lamp on the bedside table. Owls are quite the fad these days! I love this strip. You have portrayed Elvis perfectly when he attacks the man’s foot. I truly laugh out loud at this one !!! Tell the man we are laughing because we have all been in his situation!!!!! LOL

My old cat Hepsebah used to grab on and bite if I moved too much in my sleep. Didn’t hurt through all the covers though but it did wake me up.

If I move in the slightest when Dean’s around, I get the Elvis treatment. Sam’s like Puck fortunately as he spends the most time on the bed

Our cat used to think we were ‘playing’ and ‘grabbed and bite’ when we moved in bed. When she got under the covers she bit the sheet and ripped out a chunk. I was able to stop that by spraying perfume on the sheets when I made the bed.

I have the same problem. Miscreant always sleeps on my hip and rolls with me as I roll over. Meav sleeps at my feet and bites me every time I move during the night. Sometimes Meav ends up on the floor.

We rescued a beautiful tortoise-shell female who was dumped on our apartment lobby once. Turned out she was “with litter” and had a beautiful, very diverse family. I will never forget one morning before we re-homed them when the kittens all woke at the same time, came galloping into the bedroom and scaled the foot of the bed on the blankets. Five sets of little needles digging into your toes first thing in the morning REALLY gets you up and moving!

And yes, the robes and jammies are adorable. And no, HER cat is the happy little soul gleefully riding the wave. Really good, Georgia.

My 3 kitties have dealt with the problem by combined strategy – one on my stomach, the other two on each side of my legs. Try to move then, hoomin!

I,too, have had that problem with my cats. The more you try to dislodge them, the more they bite and claw. But I think that my Tommy has given up. He has decided just to take over most of the bed. And at almost 20 lbs. he’s hard to move.

Elvia, be glad that’s not my dad you’re sleeping on; you would’ve gotten kicked into the wall by now (true story; every cat that has attempted this with my dad has gotten reflexively kicked off the bed, with one having the misfortune to get sent into the nearby wall in the process. She learned not to do it again, though).

Is it just me, or does the man in the last panel who says, “YOUR CAT IS INSANE!” look like Keanu Reeves?
