My high school actually had an outdoor smoking section. It was usually pretty full (I could see through the glass doors; I’ve never smoked a day in my life). One particular section was notorious; it was called “The Row”. Absolutely everyone knew about The Row…even a “dense cabbage” (a phrase my daughter uses) as me. This was the late ’70s/early ’80s; you can figure it out.
