Nancy: Aunt Fritzi---Will you empty the vacuum cleaner.
Aunt Fritzi: Why?
Nancy: I was cleaning my room--- ---And I pushed it against my plastic beach ball.
We had an old GE vacuum cleaner, and it lasted many years until replacement parts were impossible to get. It was heavy and solid, and a small child could ride on it. And it was all metal except for the bag and cord.
