Actually, there is a growing number of medical professionals who advocate the fist bump over the traditional handshake for general germ-transfer avoidance.
It doesn’t matter how old I am, why make an effort to make something cool when you can show how sincere you are, and a hand shake is the best way to do so. Finally a reaction from Opal that I really like.

I’m 79 and I think it’s a great idea—for sanitation reasons. And I never liked sweaty handshakes or white gloves anyway.
