Don’t you just hate it when your pet Lamprey develops an allergy. Maybe it is allergic to cats - so they should be off its diet.

If the “jet pack enthusiast” magazine has anything to do with this, I don’t get it….If it’s just Lio taking a “strange” pet to the vet, then I”m ok…maybe just reading too much into it

I don’t know what that thing is, but I bet the vet has a hard time getting it off his face. (Last vet I saw in this strip was a man, but maybe Lio’s had to change vets since that Cybil episode.)

I think it’s a baby sand worm from “Dune.” I suppose without an elbow, it can’t do a “Dracula cough” like we’re supposed to do in these treacherous swine flu times….

I don’t think it’s a shai-halud or a lamprey – it seems to have two opposed jaws (lampreys’ teeth are arranged radially, and sandworms have three jaws). Maybe it’s a larval dhole…
