I do remember being tickled by it…perhaps I missed the “outcry”.

Salman Rushie, as a guest on “Bill Maher” Friday night, mention that political cartoons, books, and journalism are meant to “rock the boat”, by pointing out injustices and unfair play. “Just what would a politically acceptable political cartoon look like?” he asked.

Yes, Masterkrain, I remember well.Happily,C.@ BrassOrchid - This is a good cartoon with a good message about free speech and how to show righteous indignation when a line is crossed. Those on the liberal and conservative extremes will probably be pleased with your comment and the replies it can generate, but I’ve read some very insightful comments from you Orchid, and while I’ve not always agreed with them, they made me think. Just an observation.Respectfully,C.

also @ Brass Orchid -No, Justjoking, you are right on target. I’m sorry I took your content out of context, Orchid. Too many folks use the word progressive as a synonym for liberal. I probably should have simply asked for more context. As I said, I usually find your comments insightful.Thank you both for helping me understand more clearly.Sincerely,C.

So I see the Borsling, lil’ Jen, and, heck, no need to mess with this name, McFaddin, got together over some type of free range something and arrived at the same middle-of-the-pack conclusion. How bourgeois!!!!!
