    This brings back memories of a Christmas when I was visiting my sister in Washington State. As a Southern Californian, I had never had a white Christmas, and since it looked like snow on Christmas Eve, I prayed for a white Christmas. When I woke up in the morning to a thin dusting of snow, I thought my little nieces and nephews would be thrilled! They weren’t. They had gotten bikes for Christmas and couldn’t ride them. Boy, did that make me more careful about what I pray for!
