    A very Kafka-esque aphorism. To hurt one’s self inside or out: At first, to wake up from the frustration-dream of what I appear to be. But later because it’s not a dream. Eventually the Sphinx jumps off a cliff, and you think that’s a solution. Even later, you realize the Sphinx was a comfort and reliable certainty. All people are sphinxes, especially yourself.
