Well, there was always very little chance of South Africa winning the Football World Cup being held in SA this year…
The recent birth of the Zuma’s 20th child by a mistress, Sonono Khoza, who turned out to be:
the daughter of one of his friends who is also the chairman of SA’s soccer world cup organising committee.
I don’t follow sports but I gather Irvin Khoza (Orlando Pirates’s boss*) has some influence and considered fairly powerful. If just limited to the world of sports, I do not know.
I rather liked the comment of the 2nd guy on the right.
(* TMI: my cousin was once a goalie for Orlando Pirates juniors for a couple of seasons in the early ’80s)
