    i actually have more take home pay since i retired than when i was working, but i still have to make my money stretch

    I had to readjust when I was forced to retire but I found that most of what I had to give up was useless waste anyway

    @bald - after working 40 years for the government, how is it there’s never been a rubber check one year they were going to try to send out IOU’s but there was something in our federal contract that prohibited it also they furloughed some govt. workers, but wound up giving them back pay plus paying them any available OT
