Too bad Nate doesn’t use his intellect for school. The difference between Nate and Ellen lies in the fact that although Nate has a higher I.Q. (Intelligence Quotient) than Ellen, he does not apply himself at school and only uses his intellect for immaterial things whereas Ellen is sedulous and works meticulously at school to earn high marks.

His head is as big as his shirt.. Also, this is my 1st comment. I have been reading Big Nate on here since July and I finally made a account.

The reason why the characters look so much different now and then is because Lincoln Peirce draws the comic by hand, not on the computer, and he can’t draw identically every single time, but a computer potentially could.
