Ahab: the Grand Canyon isn’t the only place in NPS with this problem. Yosemite, among others, has quite few suicides. WHICH, btw, about those Rangers who have to risk THEIR LIVES just to recover bodies and give the families “closure”? Those are the folks now being vilified by Cruz, “Freedomworks”, and that idiot from Wasilla, because REPUBLICANS have held up budgets FOR FIVE YEARS!
<br"Oh right, these are the folks who continue to do these often dangerous jobs, with no guarantee of receiving their salaries because that $78,000 a year in green fees to play golf Boehner, refuses to go to the table with a single viable, honest, and needed, budget proposal, AGAIN!!
I have a photo of my mother’s family from when she was about five, in 1924 or 1925, and it looks very much like the photo you posted. My grandfather worked in the mines in Colorado and died of lung disease when he was 45, because there was no union to insist on proper safety equipment. There were four daughters in the family — they all went to university and made good lives for themselves. They were proud of the hard work they put in to make something of themselves, but they never forgot what it was like to live in poverty, and they never said “hey, I made it, why can’t everyone?” They said, “hey, I made it, how can I help?” The New Deal improved the lives of millions of people. We need a new New Deal.
Ansonia, I love how on the Oct 14th Toles thread, despite refusing to answer any questions I directed at you, you demanded I answer your questions…and when I did, you abandoned the thread to instead post here and elsewhere. Common courtesy aside, I guess my answer was too much for you to handle?http://www.gocomics.com/tomtoles/2013/10/14/
Is this a what is the meaning of “is” question, Anthony? Because you can be “on top of the world” and still be stuck in Chicago…or Detroit… Or you can be “Top Dog” and still be a little Chihuahua with a Great Danes femur in your jaws. But, after what I saw the Libs pull over the weekend, Anthony … I’m sure you’re not interested in accurate polling let alone what being “low in the polls” means for the future of this democracy.

I would reccomend against posting that you have already posted a link, as according to recent history no such link exists.
If A) you have no such link, you can better just reference that you read and thus dodge any need to back
B) if there is such a link it is only a ctrl – p – c away

I love it how RWNJs ignore polls that don’t support their delusions. It worked out for President Romney, right?

If Republicans are so low in the polls – why do they always land on top of the Democrats?

Yeah, the polls are slanted, just like all the polls that predicted Obama would be re-elected, right?
