I was thinking of Hobbes cut off all of Calvin’s hair then tried to rectify the problem by drawing on Calvin’s bald scalp with a yellow magic marker! Calvin proudly goes off to show his mother, only to get a trip to the bathtub! Hobbes then is saying “Oh, does it come off in the bath?” to which an annoyed Calvin is vigorously shampooing himself saying “From now on just keep your brainy ideas to yourself, OK?”
