That’s longer than a lot of freight trains that I’ve seen…

I used to push carts. We weren’t allowed to do more than 5 or 6 at a time cause our store’s too cheap to get us one of those nifty electric pusher thingies places like Wal-Mart have. I’m so glad I don’t do carts anymore. Overheating in summer and sliding on ice in winter. Oh, and let’s not forget nearly being run over by careless drivers all the time. Cartherds deserve a lot of respect and should be treated nicely.

plus the fact that people are lazy and won’t walk more than 20 feet to a cart corral and the carthearders have to go all over the parking lot to round up them stray carts

Considering shopping carts often end up blocks–even miles–away from their origins, I always stand at attention and hold my hand over my heart when their being herded home again.

I actually got stuck waiting in New Zealand… We were on a country road on the way to the Fox Glacier, and a shepherd was moving his flock from one paddock to another.

As a fan of Footrot Flats, we just put the car in park and enjoyed the nice weather. bleeep windy at the carpark though…
