An intermittent electronic mirror gizmo, just so she doesn’t get stuck for too long ;)

Stop thinking in terms of things Phoebe!(due to yesterdays late post, I will repeat my comment here)

The truest gifts are not material.Gifts are exchanged with the heart. A quiet moment shared on a chilly morning. A warm muzzel nibbling your ear. A peacefull ride in the woods sheathed in sparking diamonds of frost. A gentle scratch behind the ears. A sigh, a soft nicker. A touch of a velvet muzzle against your cheek. “Now, hand over the treats!”

Get her a tattoo or a piercing. Those are way trendy right now.

Maybe a painting of Marigold. Or pretty bows for her mane. Or… ooooh! A tiara!! Worked for Amy Farrah Fowler.

That’s easy. Just make a picture of her, and a nice frame around it )

A mirror works too…oh wait she gets mesmerized and doesn’t move because she’s in awe of her beauty… how about some nice hoof boots?

Get her an old mirror that’s only partially reflective, having lost most of it’s backing. That way she could see herself partially, and then she be only “mostly fascinated”, which is a little “not fascinated”…

Maybe a nice fluffy stuffed unicorn doll? but it’s not about out doing or equilling her gift. Yes she can give you a box of pure happiness or just magic up any thing she wants. And while she wouldn’t mind an apple or a new scarf or a hat or leg warmers the true gift is to just be there and give her your self. We all know her gift to you will be the best thing in the world, her self. But on the other hand people still want stuff so get her Apples and sod and a nice warm blanket. Maybe a Jazz record. Or maybe she has a wish that she never took the time to get her self. Maybe her dram is to be in her own comic strip or to sit by the fire watching “The Last unicorn” or maybe she wants to be reunited with a long lost family member? Or maybe she doesn’t celibate Christmas? Maybe she’s a Jewish Unicorn? or maybe she has no religion ever since Noha’s Ark left with out her. Or maybe she is in to Zen or Yoga or some wacky Unicorn Holiday or maybe she does the old Dewd customs? Well After all of that, I think the best gift to get her is 15 foot tall PVC Futtershy with 15 action phrases and interlocking accessories signed by the main six. THAT is the perfect gift for any one. Way better then a an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle or her childhood sled from the only time she was truly happy or Nancy Spumoni Signature Snow Boots. Also you have to get some thing for Max. Maybe he wants an Apple also?and your parents, your Jazz teacher, Todd the candy Dragon..are we forgetting any one? Oh yes Dakota might as well give her a gift too. maybe a hair brush? I don’t know I ju7st see Dakota being visited by ghosts this yearWhat do you get for some one who thinks only of her self and how great and wonderful she is and how she should always be the center of attention and she already has every thing she could ever want?.

OK, more seriously: How about a day at a spa, getting the full pampered treatment? And while there may not be any spas here that can do a good hooficure, coat sheening or horn buff-and-polish, I have no doubt at all that, in her world, Marigold knows just the place!

Unicorns are still equine, they go nuts over apples, fruity lifesavers, watermelon, apples, salt licks, as well as that itch behind the ears they just can’t reach by themselves.

MAR also has worn plenty of dress up costumes. She may be susceptible to the great costume jewelry too. Mine knew the parade vs regular harness..Then there’s music. She knows about music stores. My old horse preferred Gene Autry. Is Jazz MAR’s preferred? .

Then there’s movement. Our town’s ballet troupe is doing its 90th season of Nutcracker. There’s some enchantement! For over a decade there was a fellow who could dance Mother Ginger in a continuous pirouette. Instead of just bouncing up and down a few times and parting the skirts like a curtain those hoops went flying 45 degree tilt like a carnival ride. It took a lot of cooperation between 100’s of people but It was magic.

Humor? Somehow I think Phyllis Diller laughing about having a figure like a sackful of doorknobs would be a hit with a creature that sees little beauty in the human form, and plenty in the human spirit.
