@dph28 – Nah, TNT is Rip’s sidekick. Sidekicks never get hurt if the big guy doesn’t get hurt.

Can Dick Tracy do stuff like this? Yes, only Rip doesn’t make Swiss Cheese outta of them like Tracy does. No offense to Tracy, though. Each hero has their own fighting style.
