"You're getting all worked up." "I know! Maybe I feel guilty!" "Guilty?" "We were the first television generation! It started with us, you know!" "We were bombarded with ads for toys, and our guileless parents gamely went along." "Compared to Hitler, everything else seemed harmless to them!"
Compared to Stalin, our ’Ally, and what he did, Hitler was trivial (not saying that what the Germans did was good or anything like that. They were definitely evil and committed many heinous crimes). One or two US Generals even commented that we defeated the wrong enemy.
