Ooooooooh, the oceans aren’t going to like earth’s counter rotation move too well . . . .nevertheless, I’ll be there’ll be some gnarly waves for surfing thanks to Stupendous man and Calvin’s loathing of homework!

Perhaps I’ve missed something, but I’m not sure why Arlo expects to go somewhere or attend an event while visiting the kids that would require something dressy? Has that ever happened before? I’m not an expert at A & J history, but I don’t remember him wearing a tie in a very long time, nor do I ever remember Janis donning a dress and heels.

Michael wants to be a writer, correct? Thus begins Michael’s education OUTSIDE the classroom as an idea forms in his mind on writing a book called “Things not to say to a woman”….courtesy and influenced in large part by Rhetta.

Let’s not forget, of course, the Transmogrifier!

I knew someone like this in real life. I had a bunch of friends who would join me each year for a kayak trip the last weekend of Sept. I need to stress this was a ONE DAY overnight stay. One of the ladies I knew brought four (yes, 4) full size suitcases packed with clothes! I cannot imagine what she would bring had we stayed a week.

Nate, you big lug, you have a heart of gold!

I know this is something most other didn’t see, and it caught my eye right away since my career was in the coatings industry when I was working…but in the second panel the first thing I saw was Arlo and Janis covered with blue paint. Only after a second and third glance did I recognize it for what it was worth, shade from the trees, but I just cannot “un-see” the paint spill.

I can’t agree with you more! When I was a kid, my folks forced me to eat them….and eventually it led to the very first time I defied my parents when informed them I would endure any punishment, but I was NOT going to eat the brussel sprouts on my plate.

I would have beat them both out the door!

I’m not sure what Janis has so much to be concerned with, but I do know some people are addicted to trauma and just cannot help themselves but to worry. Regardless of how well they have it, they will find something to worry about because it allows the release of whatever hormone they need to feed this addiction. I truly do feel sorry for those who live their lives in this manner.
