Same here. I saw the original 3 Star Wars movies. When the re-releases came out in the 90s, it was mentioned that they now included the full scene of the torture and death of Luke Skywalker’s stepparents (the original release only shows their burned skeletons). Not sure if it was meant as warning or for publicity. Anyway, I decided I did not need to see gratuitous violence played out on a big screen in front of me.Did not see Titanic either, just a few scenes when someone else was streaming it.
Yes! I got into the habit of telling people exactly which button I meant. Some would get offended and bite my head off (“I’m not stupid!!”). I feel vindicated by your comment :-)
And if there is documentation, people don’t use it. They always think it’ll be faster and more efficient (!) if they try to guess as they go along. Rtfm!
