Yes, I didn’t mean to make light of the issue, I’ve read that there are different levels and all of them make me cringe. My point is that normal organs don’t need to have anything cut off. The most common excuse I’d heard (other than I don’t want the boy to feel he’s different from his dad), is that it’s easier for circumcised men to clean…you can teach how to clean it like you can teach how to brush your teeth.
Why are female circumcisions in this country illegal but not male? PS. I asked a surgeon a long time ago why there were so many problems afterwards and he told me it should be done by an urologist but they just tell a resident to go to it-sans supervision. If it gets too screwed to fix they seal the medical records and the boy becomes a girl.
