   I just can figure out if you’re being serious or if you trolling.So you looked “…into the papers and reports with a skeptical scientific view.”, seems to me you did nothing of the sort – a scientific view means being skeptical, but it also means no dismissing facts of which there are so many.Here is a few you just can not dismiss:- Since industrialization human activity as let to there being much more CO2 and other green house gasses in the atmosphere.- Those gasses has let to a warming of our planet, so climate is changing and it is doing so at a faster rate than naturally.- If we keep pretending there is no problem and pollute like there is no tomorrow, then this will further accelerate the global warming.

   That was three very basic facts. If you want numbers they are available every where – and remember not to mistake weather for climate.As for the effects of global warming, just look at how the number of tornadoes increase over time as one small example.

   Saving energy isn’t about customer service or something like that, it is much more important.I hate to break the news to you, but there is no planet B.Global warming is real and the rapid climate change is a real thing, if we all do what we can, then maybe we can stop the acceleration and avoid climate change is going to happen even faster.Ask you children what they think, if you don’t want them to curse how you lived best start considering the world they get to live in.

   Exactly.First time I ran into that system, it had me calling the front desk to report power was out in my room. I did so while still in the move in process, so I avoided the bumping into @#*# part.I’m okay with it as the system saves electricity being wasted, only downside is the AC as you mention and also not being able to charge stuff while away – the really smart hotels will leave a socket just for that which holds power.

    I knew the song instantly, but had to look up ‘Egret’. Sometimes not being a native English speaker makes the PBS strips a challenge. I suppose it may be Ol ’ Blue Eyes is more know internationally than the egret species.
