Our Tibetan spaniel once caught a rabbit, which was sitting under a bush. For about two seconds, our dog was three inches from the rabbit, which froze——and our dog did not know what to do next. She had never caught one before. After those two seconds, or maybe it was only a second and a half, the rabbit bolted, really fast.
I am currently making my way through Mahler’s symphonies, as well as the deluxe box set, with all the extras, of “The Beatles” (the white album). AND——I finished the two-CD set of Brenda Lee’s earliest singles! Too, we are in season three of “I Dream of Jeannie.” Barbara Eden’s acting skills are so complete, she never for a moment betrays that she is acting, wondrously powerful: such a very, very rare skill. With most actors you can see them working at it, even if it’s only a little. Not with her; she is totally, completely the character. She’s like Ginger Rogers that way.
