Exactly. Backpacks were unknown in the ’60s & ’70s. If anyone HAD brought one to school, they would have been a laughing stock..

Either that, or a fraidy cat. But what would be the difference?

All of you with the political bs are trying to inject it where there is none. Thor is simply apologizing for yelling at BC, who is telling him to let bygones be bygones (but BC secretly got even with his “stupid head” sign). That’s all there is to it..

Still around. The long distance love interest and the people across the sea are two different gags..

It’s not practical to have original comics dates match today’s date. The only year out of the entire decade of the 1960s that matches 2024 is 1968. Gocomics is not going to go to all the trouble of jumping around like that. Plus, you would miss out on years of comics that way. But there’s a simple solution. The original month, day and year is plainly printed on every single BC comic. Read the date first, and you won’t be confused anymore..

Mason should have paid better attention in Paleontology 101. That is a pteranodon, NOT a pterodactyl. Pterodactyls were small. Pteranodons were the ones with the 40 foot wingspans. However, even the largest ones only had a body weight of about 500 lbs, and probably couldn’t have lifted even one adult human. But, it’s a popular fantasy in cartoons and movies to have them carrying people off, so.. yeah.
