   Long ago I had a pipe I made from the fork of a burnt peach tree. It was perfect for the Balkan Sobranie Flake, Murray’s Erinmore Flake, and a couple navy flake (McBarren’s, Dunhill, Ogden’s ?) tobaccos. IRC, my favorite was the Sobranie, when I could find it.

   If the high score won, the game would never end. If that werre the case, I know that I would never sink my ball, at least intentionally, until all the other players had sunk theirs.

   But then you still have to play to win, and I don’t. I could tell you my view of golf but I don’t think it would get past that censor guy.
