Although we would be considered liberal by most, my husband is always complaining to me about NPR and the fact that they have become a lot more one-dimensional in the last few years. Is that because Republicans refuse to be interviewed on NPR? That probably contributes. His main gripe about NPR is that it is too political. We would prefer to hear more world news, more economic news, more diverse news and far less political coverage. The BBC hour (and Marketplace) is the best part of that station now, and BBC World is where we get most of our news. I still listen to NPR during my commute as it is still the best available news channel on the radio. Also, I love Wait, wait don’t tell me and Hidden Brain.
I think you are confusing me with somebody. I don’t have that body part. I have every right to talk about women’s rights seeing as I am both biologically, socially, and as a biological mother to two children, in all objective ways part of that definition.
maybe but Israel is our largest recipient of aid. “The U.S. provides aid to countries that are recovering from war, developing countries, and countries that are strategically important to the U.S1. In 2018, the U.S. spent over $47 billion on foreign aid1. About 37% of the aid went to ten countries, including Afghanistan, Israel, and Jordan1. Israel is the most consistent recipient of US aid, with $146 billion received since its founding2. Asia receives almost $20 billion from the US annually2.”
