I personally hated history classes because my teacher only taught it by the books. Motivations of historical figures are up to interpretation, historians still have different oppinions on a lot of stuff some of these historical figures did (and with some historical figures, a lot of what we know about them was written by their successors and their successors’ followers, who very often only became successors, because they got rid of the person in question, so they had an agenda to make that person look as bad as possible, which means that the source material often isn’t really trustworthy). But if you didn’t agree with my history teacher, that was an automatic C or D, didn’t matter how good you could argue your point.
I know my sizes. Not sure if I ever returned something I bought online because it didn’t fit or because I didn’t like it. I also don’t buy online that often.
I don’t actually know why people use sheep as an insult. Sheep are one of the few domesticated species that can’t be bred industrially (in breeding plants with terrible conditions), yet still managed to get all the positives out of domestication (safer living conditions, healthcare…). Wolves, on the other hand, are facing extinction in a lot of parts of the world.
As a European I am actually glad that Trump became president when he became president. Our leaders here were bending over backwards for Obama and nearly signed a treaty that would have given the US a very massive advantage over European economies (it was called TTIP). Then Trump became president, didn’t understand the treaty at all, cancelled it and a few weeks later started demanding the things that he would have gotten with the treaty. By then everybody had realized that he was a few fries short of a happy meal and didn’t give in.
