The fact that Doc left Mentis alone in the lab is weird in itself. He came in, said he wanted to go back in time, they did, and now they are back to the present. He barely knows the place. However, conveniently, there is a big “ENTER” button on the touch screen so I imagine that will be the next step.
The Siege of Yorktown started in September 1781 so perhaps Oop will end up near the British camp? In Hamlin’s day, Oop would end up helping the Colonials fight. Today’s Oop? Will probably catch another cold and press the Call Wonmug button to get him the heck out of there. 8*)
No, so perhaps we get a time travel tale back to that era. Let’s hope it’s a good one, like the way Hamlin would have done it, and not a Punch and Judy show….
The coordinates are for the Philadelphia area.
So Oop is requesting that he be transported to July 31, 1781? Oh oh, is this a tie-in to Hamilton?
Except that the “recap” missed all three panels from yesterday. Not okay in my book.
Isn’t he supposed to be one of the world’s richest men?
I fear he may become one of the recurring characters in the Oop saga.
So, Oop buzzes the Doc to say he needs to see him. Mentis sees the alarm, hits a few buttons, Oop ZANGS!, and hilarity ensues….
I think Oscar Boom somehow knew how to reprogram a device he’d never seen before and set it to where if Oop pushed the button, it would take him to Wonmug’s lab only in an emergency.
