The Magic Knife has currently disappeared. It seems to disappear and reappear at the oddest times.

With all the problems on cruises the past few years, I hope they get home ok.

You touched on a great solution no politician wants to touch. Currently, Red Flag Laws (or " Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs)) are written in various forms. The most terrifying form is that Anybody can contact the police, reporting that a person has a gun and are a danger to themselves or others. Without a warrant, hearing by a judge or anything, the police go and enter the house and search it, seizing all guns. They remove the guns and leave the dangerous person behind.

Most Red Flag calls are proven not valid (~95%) yet it takes up to a year or more and lots of money to recover them. One military person had an ex-girlfriend call the police and they seized his guns. He checked periodically to make sure they were ok as one was off great sentimental value as it was given by a friend later killed in the war. Sure enough, when he was cleared and proven innocent (I thought you had to be proven guilty), the gun of sentimental value had “disappeared” and “Sorry, nothing we can do”.

SOLUTION: Quit taking the guns. Do what was suggested. When somebody reports a person as dangerous, the police should SEIZE THE DANGEROUS PERSON and confine them until a qualified psychiatrist evaluates and treats them and declares them safe to reenter society.

Seize people without a hearing by a judge? No way would a politician do that, IT WOULD COST VOTES.

Better to take the guns and leave the dangerous person with diesel fuel and ammonium nitrate (fertilizer) like Timothy McVey used. LAVE THE DANGEROUS PERSON LOOSE, they may VOTE.

Joe Biden is current about to launch his nationwide ERPO plan. It will take years to work through the court system to be ruled unConstitutional under a variety of reasons. (Unreasonable search and seizure, no warrant entry, etc)

Remember this – Gun Control laws do NOT control guns in the hands of criminals, gang members, and mentally disturbed people. They only impact law abiding citizens.

Changing the name from what it always has been and what the people want to something “Progressive” and unwanted? Sounds like Joe and his 2030 deadline for EVs and Hybrids. Don’t care what the people want. BTW Hertz is getting rid of its EV fleet, seems nobody wants to rent them.

In 2007, Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip from rival Palestinian faction Fatah,5758 which it has governed since separately from the Palestinian National Authority. (They won by election and never allowed another election to date.)

The ongoing 2023 war began after Hamas launched an attack, killing both civilians and soldiers, and taking hostages back to Gaza.596061 The attack has been described as the biggest military setback for Israel since the 1973 Arab–Israeli War, which Israel has responded to in an ongoing ground invasion of Gaza.62

Hamas has carried out attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians, including suicide bombings and indiscriminate rocket attacks.85 These actions have led human rights groups to accuse it of war crimes, and Argentina, Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, Paraguay, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union44 to designate Hamas as a terrorist organization.

Well they aren’t too bad – for an organization that believes in genocide ie extermination of all Jews. And they hate America with a passion.

Considering the financial and weapons backing, they are the giant. If you want to support a known and recognized terrorist organization that kills indiscriminately, go ahead. Contemplate for a moment; if they ever got any political control ofAmerica, which groups they would eradicate.

First, murder, even if it revenge is wrong but the so-called Israeli Avengers) wanted revenge – justice for the Nazi’s attempt to exterminate all Jews (and other groups such as Gypsies) in their goal of creating “The Master Race” BUT it is understandable. When somebody kills a child, sometimes the parents do the same. You might do the same if you cared and loved your children.

A bit of history. There was an Israel long before there was a Palestine. Palestinians are not trying to “reclaim” what was theirs. They simply hate Israel the way Israel and other Muslim countries hate Israel. I was in Saudi for a while and it was incredible to see the level of hatred and refusal to acknowledge anything Israel.

As LVObserver pointed out, you have your opinion and interpretation all backwards. Israel is a small, very small nation. They live with their backs to the wall every moment of their lives, surrounded by enemies that want to eradicate them.

They are brave and courageous which with their faith and attitude is all that keeps them alive. In 1967 there was a war between Israel and Egypt, Jordan, and Syria known as the 6 Day War (also the June War), lasting from June 5th to June 10th. The world expected Israel to fall in defeat. On the 6th Day, Israel surprised the world and kicked fanny. Israel has never started a military action, only responded. They cannot afford to start something. They only want to be left alone and live their faith in peace.

Hamas is a known and world wide recognized Terrorist organization.

Hamas, an acronym of its official name, Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya, is a Palestinian Sunni Islamist political and military movement governing parts of the occupied Gaza Strip. Hamas was founded by Palestinian imam and activist Ahmed Yassin in 1987.

The judge ruled Mar a Lago was only worth 18 Million. The parking lot is worth more than that.

The banks wanted to continue doing business. They had no complaint. NOBODY had any complaint except the democrats that cannot stop Trump in a fair election so they are working to bankrupt him to stop him. The DA ran on a platform on stopping Trump.

The judge did not let Trump speak in his own defense.

The statute of limitations expired but the judge proceeded.

“Judge Engoron has refused to obey the decision of the Appellate Division relative to the Statute of Limitations. This is a confrontation between a Judge and those that rule above him”

Getting married doesn’t solve any problems.

From as religious point of view, all have sinned and only God can forgive sin, thus getting married doesn’t “fix the sin”.

From as more day to day point of view, I think it is better for a child to be born to parents not married than parents married and not ready to be married with all the resulting fighting that will happen. Both parents should do everything within their power to support and raise the child no matter what.

Question: as Joe’s 2030 requirement for all vehicles sold to be electric (technically zero pollution but only EVs can achieve that sand then only if you ignore all the pollution generating the electricity.) WHAT will happen to people in remote areas where power companies will not run the needed extra capacity lines needed to supply the increase in power?

In the old days when AT&T was the phone company, it was referred to as “The Last Mile”. AT&T ran the phone lines everywhere. Who will run the additional power lines to remote areas. What will the people do if somebody doesn’t?

How are they going to dig up the streets of NYC, LA, Chicago, etc like they did in Atlanta when they put the MARTA line in? Wiring going to subdivisions cannot handle the load without more wiring.

Don’t worry, just click your heels and keep saying it will all work out -- someday.

“The cost of basic foods is very, very, very expensive," he said. "And every day they raise prices more on basic foods. A lime, a small one, is 35 cents. It’s not right.”

Despite trending downward over the past year, consumer price increases accelerated in January and February, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, raising concerns that the inflation fight isn’t over yet.

Yep, Inflation is whipped – Except for milk, eggs, meat, gas, bread, etc.

And just wait until Joe’s ban on selling gas cars kicks in by 2030, those things are expensive and the govt cannot afford to keep subsidizing them. Oh well, people can walk. I used to walk to school 10 miles through snow drifts uphill both ways!!
