   Ick. I don’t like Luann being so easily talked into skipping class. This seems out of character. Like Argy said, they could shoot after class. Luann would have stood up to anyone else, especially someone she doesn’t really trust and she knows has already been kicked out of one school.

   I know all that! I didn’t say they are friends now. Ox could be closing up, see Eiffel and get suspicious. He reads character pretty well. He could see Les dealing with the ethical dilemma and ask what is going on. Listen like a friend and give good , mildly threatening advice.

   You all want Luann and Tiffany to be friends, why not Ox and Les? If could be a positive force in the rehabilitation of Les.

   I guessed gambling way back then. I think Ox is going to help Les decide. Like a real friend. And Les will give Ox back some of the money he stole.
