That’s the way retail versus wholesale works. When Pepsi-Dr. Pepper starts selling to the mass market in small quantities at the wholesale prices, then that would be notable. And whether or not it’s actually profitable for the retailer depends on a multitude of factors related to the costs of selling the sodas. It should be profitable, but I doubt it’s 300% or anywhere near that.
MAGAts view Trump as a messiah; reasonable people (and no MAGAt is reasonable) just view Biden as the current and hopefully next President. MAGAts hero-worship, and worship is an all-too-true term, but they’re not smart enough to realize that others don’t view their politicians that way. We just want someone who will do the job (something Trump did not do at all, but Biden does, if not always to one’s liking). So much dumb-ass projection.
Never thought there was a connection for a second, just bad timing. The Vincent McMahon story has been picked up by many major news outlets, including Forbes and the Wall Street Journal.
Vincent McMahon, Chairman and CEO of WWE, had a lawsuit filed against him accusing him of grooming, trafficking, and sexually assaulting a woman (and allegedly women). He and a few others have been accused of some seriously sick stuff. Not for the first time, either. The lawsuit is civil, but apparently authorities are looking into whether or not there is enough evidence for criminal charges (the standard for criminal conviction is higher than for civil judgements).
I know it is just coincidence and that McMahon isn’t an uncommon name, but considering the news around another McMahon in the past few weeks, this comic is poorly timed.
