Please leave the conspiracy theories to the Maga morons. The timing is unfortunate. Not planned by an “axis of evil” that wants to hurt Biden.

I am with you. I actually believe he has done a decent job. He has stated that Israel absolutely has a right to defend itself from Hamas. He has pointed out that what they are doing is not going to eliminate Hamas and it will likely create more enemies of Israel both in the Middle East and the rest of the world. He has worked to get increased aid into Gaza. That is what I would say should be done. It is too bad that Americans have become so extreme that they can’t see that.

Oh my. I feel like a fool. I spelled a word incorrectly. That completely invalidates my comment.

They have a point. Some of the young protesters do not fully understand the complexities and history that led to the conflict. Of course, those who believe Israel has total, free reign to do exactly as they want in Gaza ignore those complexities and that history.

Exactly what I did! Had to go to high school graduation because I was in band. My parents would have insisted anyway. Never even considered going to the ceremonies when I got my bachelor’s or master’s degrees

Mr. Rall. You must understand that this is a right-wing thing. It is not just about disagreeing with the protesters’ position on Gaza and Israel. You have to look strong! Letting protesters get away with a large protest like that is a sign of weakness. It would make us look weak as a nation.

This is another reason I find the right so despicable these days.

My apologies. The comment about his past mistakes you refer to was meant to for Braindead, not you. I don’t have a lawyer in any case :)

Unfortunately, you still don’t understand the concept of a conspiracy theory. There are predictions for the future which can be correct or incorrect. (And I do not remember hearing the 2016 prediction you refer to. I am hearing it now, in 2024, and I happen to disagree with the prediction.) A conspiracy theory is that Antifa was behind January 6. Wrong, inane and easily disproved.

I almost always disagree with Mr. Goodwyn’s point in his political cartoons. So, when he is correct, like this time, it might be better to compliment him than point out his past mistakes. Let’s try to find at least a little common ground

You don’t seem to understand what a conspiracy theory is. A conspiracy theory is an explanation for something that happened in the past; usually an absolutely ridiculous explanation. For example, people saying that the January 6 riots were caused by Antifa. Ridiculous. So, if anyone said in 2016 that Trump would become a dictator they made an incorrect prediction. (I also do not remember anyone saying that in 2016 but that is besides the point). But that is not a conspiracy theory.
