With all the complaining about story lines, only Mordy, Eladee and a couple of others made suggestions for future direction to my May 1st post. Maybe G & K need to bring back Ann Eiffel (who could have spent the past “Luann year” in France). One scheme could have her focusing on Frank (I think he may be one of the few characters who has not met her personally) and she, somewhat made over, speaking with a “put-on” French accent, tries to con Frank out of the Fuse somehow, of course, keeping the whole thing between them. Some arc involving her could turn out an (in)decent story line – as indicated the last time “She’ll be back”.

Of course not. Those of us who know the real facts know its a cube. Just those who never travel far enough (afraid of falling off) just think its flat. (◠‿◠)

Brings back a lot of memories, when music was still music. I still have 78s with groups like the Mills Brothers, the Four Aces, the Ink Spots, the Ames Brothers, the Four Lads, the Gaylords, etc. Those groups could sing and harmonize. Of course, there was the Andrew Sisters “Drinking Rum & Coca Cola”. One of my favorite songs, “Under the Boardwalk” by the Drifters.

Eladee’s one post ended “… but Green new characters might also be appealing.”

Al and Irma weren’t the “Grays” I had in mind with my post. I meant those “Grays” from Ganymede or wherever in the universe they come from. It didn’t occur to me to be more specific.

Now what do you have against the “Grays”? They fill slighted now. (◠‿◠)

Well, Tiff was never the sharpest tack in the box. She has made progress, however, once she started college and lot of it due to her interactions with Bets.

So the moral of the story is to avoid hotels/motels where people ate coconuts in bed or else you may have to live with those crabs for a long time. (◠‿◠)

Mine too. So you’re the one we can blame! Next time tell them to get lost. (◠‿◠)

People living in the South for Millenia? Native Americans, but only the last 4 to 5 hundred years ago for the “European immigrants”. Air conditioning did open up the South for migration from other parts of the country. Without it, the South would essentially be a predominately rural region with the cities a lot smaller than they are today. Due to AC, it has the allowed to become an economic powerhouse in the country.

As for changing the ecology, it has somewhat, but not to the extent that has happened in Arizona which has a desert ecology. The South has its own type of greenery like Bermuda grass, Dogwood trees, etc. Most of Southern greenery does not fare well in a Norther climate due to harsher and longer winters. The same holds true for most Northern greenery which, typically, does not fare well in a Southern climate.

BTW, I live in the South and have for many years. I also spent many years in the North. Wherever I lived, I adapted to the ways of the region rather than expecting people to adopt to what I liked. That is a basic problem I find with way too many people – they move to another region and expect the people there to “adapt” to them rather than vv., especially the politics. We have been experiencing that for quite a while with people leaving other areas because things went downhill there and then vote for the same type of people that drove the area they left downhill.
