Like ladyfingers said, maybe Jon should make a batch (or 4) for Garfield. Maybe Garfield won’t attack the cookies for the company.
Most people consider pets family… Why else would they “spoil” them with treats or special food?
Consider this… There were three or four Popes that renounced everything (as required) BUT their cats when they were elected Pope. I wouldn’t consider this just “companionship.”
